Today is #WorldWaterDay! We’re celebrating by expanding #INMEDAquaponics in drought regions around the world. Aquaponics consumes up to 90% less water than traditional farming and protects the watershed by using no chemical fertilizers or pesticides. It’s environmentally friendly and scalable to urban and rural environments. We’re also using aquaponics to empower women, individuals with disabilities, subsistence farmers and children in distressed communities.
