After-school Academic Enrichment Program 2019-2020

Our youth programs improve academic achievement and self-esteem.

Grades 1-5

  • 1st through 5th grades
  • Guidance Counselor Referral
  • Monday through Thursday from 3-6 pm throughout the school year when LCPS is open
  • Time: 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm
  • Cost $75 / month
  • In-person registration required
  • This program is for low-income children only. Household income verification will be done at the time of registration.
  • Transportation provided from Rolling Ridge, Sully and Guilford Elementary
  • Nutritious after-school snacks
  • One on one tutoring
  • Homework help
  • Enrichment activities
    • Science experiments
    • Self-confidence and self-esteem classes
    • Computer/Coding classes
    • Arts and crafts
  • Constructive play time
  • Monthly parent-teacher conferences & group information sessions

INMED’s Opportunity Center STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) Club includes interactive lessons and activities such as science experiments, coding, music, arts and crafts, and cooking. While most of these lessons and activities are led by volunteer science and technology professionals, high school student volunteers serve as program assistants and positive role models for the children. The STEAM Club is geared toward children in grades K-8, and meets on Saturdays from 10:00 am to 12 noon. The club is free of charge, but registration is required.
