Today is World Street Children Day. According to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), there are up to 150 million street children in the world today. Abandoned or forced from their homes due to violence, substance abuse, death, war, natural disaster or other crises, these children are vulnerable to the worst treatment that the world has to offer.
