In the last 30 years, USAID-funded projects have reduced preventable mortality rates for children under age five, the number of people living in poverty, and the number of children and adolescents out of school by half. In the past five years, USAID programming has ended hunger for 1.7 million households and has provided access to safe, affordable and sustainable drinking water to 87% of the world’s population.

In South Africa and Jamaica, INMED has partnered with USAID to bring climate-smart agriculture and aquaponics to help smallholder farmers, people with disabilities and communities affected by climate change improve nutrition, food security and sustainable income generation. Learn more at
