INMED Partnerships for Children is pleased to announce that the Loudoun Impact Fund has awarded a $10,000 grant to our Opportunity Center in Sterling, VA. The Loudoun Impact Fund is a giving circle of engaged Loudoun County donors managed in partnership by the Community Foundation for Northern Virginia and the Community Foundation for Loudoun and Northern Fauquier Counties. The Fund invests strategically in Loudoun County to support education, the arts, the environment and the needs of Loudoun families, children and youth.
We are honored to be selected for this generous donation. The funding will be used to support the Opportunity Center as a safe haven for children at risk of abuse, neglect, violence, failing or dropping out of school, becoming homeless or worse. The Loudoun Impact Fund grant will allow us to expand our After-School Program, educational and skills development classes, homelessness intervention and prevention initiatives and other offerings to build brighter futures for needy children right in our back yard.
