Summer Camp is in full swing at our Family & Youth Opportunity Center in Sterling, VA! This past week our students enjoyed a visit from Fire & Rescue Station 618 to learn about fire safety. Firefighter Trevyn Sengpiehl demonstrated how to put on full firefighting protective 
clothing and gear, followed by a hands-on tour of the shiny fire truck in the parking lot, led by firefighters Jimmy Gray and Mike Marrinen. This activity encouraged our kids to take the information home to help facilitate family evacuation plans and promote fire safety awareness.
