Our Para Crianças team in Brazil helped 30 children, their teachers and a cafeteria worker harvest lettuce from their garden at the Sonho de Criança (Child´s Dream) preschool. As it is summer in Brazil, the school gardens are proliferating at 123 participating preschools in INMED’s Crescer Saudavel (Grow Healthy) program in partnership with the Monsanto Fund. The fresh vegetables are incorporated into school meals with surplus provided to the surrounding communities.
