More Nelson Mandela Day activities! Our team at INMED South Africa is partnering with volunteers from Mondelēz South Africa today to plant 80 apple, pear and citrus trees at disadvantaged schools in Port Elizabeth. Last week, they celebrated Nelson Mandela’s 100th birthday by joining volunteers from Mondelēz, Wild Serve, the City of Johannesburg’s Department of Social Development and Food Resilience staff to plant elephant food trees at INMED new Aquaponics Center (INMED’s latest project with Mondelēz International Foundation) next to the Elias Motswaledi health clinic in Soweto. A group of little volunteers from a local preschool also joined the fun. Thank you to all our volunteers for their time, hard work and love! Nelson Mandela would be proud!
