STERLING, VA (May 23, 2018): More than 300 people in search of employment and career advancement, recruiters and volunteers participated in the recent Spring Job Fair facilitated by the INMED Family & Youth Opportunity Center in partnership with Sterling District Supervisor Koran Saines. Representatives from 60 local employers—ranging from hotels/hospitality, food service, construction and transportation to IT, financial services, retail and nonprofit organizations—were on hand to fill open positions. “We were thrilled with the turn-out,” said one recruiter. “This job fair keeps getting bigger and bigger, and it has become a great source for quality employees.”
In fact, the event had to be moved to the Claude Moore Recreation and Community Center to accommodate the large crowd. “I am pleased to work with INMED Opportunity Center to offer this community event and help residents gain employment closer to home,” said Supervisor Saines.
Special thanks to Loudoun County Public Library and Loudoun County Parks, Recreation and Community Services for supporting this free community outreach event. For more information about the Fall Job Fair, please visit https://opportunitycenter.org or https://www.loudoun.gov/sterling.
