Check out the garden our team at INMED South Africa planted on Nelson Mandela Day last July with volunteers from Mondelēz International. The garden was a gift to the Ithemba Special Daycare, a school for children with disabilities in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. We painted the internal quad with colorful images and installed a small garden with drip irrigation and planting pots. Now the garden is producing nutritious vegetables and herbs for the school’s meals program.
