INMED Andes welcomes corporate volunteers from Johnson & Johnson with a Peruvian lunch buffet. This week, the volunteers will travel from Lima to Puno experience first-hand how INMED partners with J&J to deliver treatment and prevention education for soil-transmitted helminths (STH), a neglected tropical disease that is the leading cause of anemia, malnutrition and stunted development in millions of children in Peru. INMED and J&J have mobilized a national effort to enable Peru to become the first endemic country in 70 years to eliminate STH as a public health problem in children.
