INMED Andes is partnering with the regional government of Ucayali, Peru and the Research Institute of the Peruvian Amazon to promote the use of aquaponics and fish farming to reduce malnutrition, foster food security, bolster economic development and help proliferate native Amazonian fish species.
At a regional aquaculture exhibition last week, INMED Andes provided a training course on the business of aquaponics for producers interested in raising Amazonian fish and produce for income.
