INMED Andes recently launched two important health campaigns in the Ucayali Region of Peru— vaccination against the Human Papilloma Virus and the Deworming Campaign 2017. Both initiatives seek to improve the health of schoolchildren in the region through the prevention of teenage HPV infection and the strengthening preventive treatments to reduce anemia and malnutrition in the region through regional mass deworming. These campaigns are made possible via INMED Andes’ partnerships with the regional health and education sectors and Johnson & Johnson Global Health, which has generously donated enough antiparasitic Vermox mebendazole 500 mg for the entire region.
