We’ve had a busy week in the news at INMED! Active4Life magazine is featuring INMED’s Health in Action program with Mondelēz International Foundation in its current issue. Health in Action works in 116 schools in Johannesburg and Port Elizabeth, South Africa to promote the importance of nutrition, physical activity and healthy lifestyles through hands-on, skills-based activities, including the development of school gardens and aquaponics to provide nutritious fresh produce to supplement school meals. The program is a component of INMED’s overall mission to combat the public health challenges of obesity, malnutrition, food security and climate change adaptation in disadvantaged communities of southern Africa.
