In celebration of Global Partnerships Week, we’re recognizing key partners helping INMED improve health and opportunities for vulnerable children, families and communities in developing regions. Today, we salute long-time partner Mondelēz International Foundation and our Health in Action program in South Africa and Brazil. Health in Action focuses on school-based participatory education and activities in nutrition, physical activity and healthy lifestyles, as well as access to fresh produce and fish via school gardens and aquaponics. We’re also providing youth development in Johannesburg and Port Elizabeth, South Africa through our Break Time Buddies initiative, which trains unemployed young adults to lead fun physical education activities during daily recess time and to assist with classroom health education. Thank you, Mondelēz International Foundation! We couldn’t accomplish our mission without you!
