We’re in awe of our hard-working aquaponics farmers in Kroonstadt, Free State, South Africa. Despite various disabilities, these farmers are undaunted by the ferocious winds that threaten their farm. Here, they are planting fast-growing Chinese poplar trees to buffer the winds and protect their greenhouse. Our adaptive agriculture and aquaponics project in Kroonstadt is 1 of 3 we’re facilitating for disabled farmers in Free State under a generous grant from USAID. #climatejustice #inclusion #specialneeds
