INMED is pleased to support the “Faces of Loudoun,” a series of stories about individuals who have been helped by nonprofits in Loudoun County. The initiative is the brain child of Amy Owen of The Community Foundation for Loudoun and Fauquier Counties, with the support of Cyndi and Joe Urbano of Alphagraphics, to raise awareness of the need as well as support for local nonprofits like INMED’s Family & Youth Opportunity Center. We had the pleasure recently of observing an interview of Nery Hernandez, owner of Nery’s Pupuseria in Purcellville. Nery recounted how INMED helped her with resources and skills development when she was a young teenaged mother, as well as how she received support from Women Giving Back, Loudoun Interfaith Relief and others when she and her husband were temporarily out of work. Nery and her family have come a long way since then. Our staff and volunteers at INMED Partnerships for Children feel privileged to have been part of her journey to success.
Look for Nery’s story at http://endtheneed.org/ and in the local newspapers. https://www.facebook.com/search/top/?q=Faces%20of%20Loudoun @FacesLoCo @INMEDCenter
