Our friends in Peru are suffering from the ravaging effects of climate change. As thousands of families struggle to recover from devastating flooding in the Northern regions of the country, people in the Southern Highlands are experiencing the coldest temperatures in decades. Many are freezing and starving in some locations.
With the support of Johnson & Johnson, our team at INMED Andes has assembled 4 times as many hygiene kits than what was projected to help families stay as healthy as possible in the flood recovery refugee camps. More than 15,000 families are living in three camps in 
Piura, where our team is performing health assessments and distributing the hygiene kits.
