Our Para Crianças team in Petrolina, Brazil helped 112 children, 13 teachers, cafeteria workers and parent volunteers create a garden classroom at the Proinfância Tereza Maria de Amorim preschool. Everyone pitched in to prepare the plot, till the soil and create tidy rows for the crops. The seedlings the children planted will become nutritious food for their school meals. Their teachers also will use the garden for their lessons.
