Bilikits arrive in La Libertad!

Hospitals in Trujillo will be 1st to use this revolutionary trio of technologies to screen for, diagnose and treat neonatal jaundice in low-resource regions. The Regional Governor, Regional Health Manager & hospital directors held a press conference with INMED Andes’ project director Zarela Bravo to share the big news. Funded by a Saving Lives at Birth grant from Grand Challenges Canada, INMED Partnerships for Children/INMED Andes introduced the BilikitTM last year in Peru’s Junín region. Health workers have since screened more than 3,000 newborns at 13 health facilities serving remote communities.
