Agriculture loss due to weather

Did you know that adverse weather conditions have led to US$1 billion in losses in the Jamaican agriculture sector over the past two years? According to Jamaica Agriculture Minister Audley Shaw, climate-related natural disasters could result in losses as high as US$22 billion annually by 2050 throughout the Caribbean. @INMEDCaribbean’s Increasing Access to Climate-Smart Agriculture program is training farmers how to launch aquaponics enterprises to adapt to climate change—including access to financing, links to buyers and ongoing technical support for sustainability.
