If you’re interested in climate-smart agriculture, mark your calendar for the Advanced Aquaponics Workshop: Application for Commercial Production on February 18, 2018 at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. Held in conjunction with the 2018 World Aquaculture Society 2018 Aquaculture America Conference, the workshop is facilitated by the US Aquaculture Society, Iowa State University and Kentucky State University.
INMED Caribbean Aquaponics Project Manager Allen Pattillo will be a key presenter on INMED’s Increasing Access to Climate-Smart Agriculture program to help small-scale farmers in Jamaica launch aquaponics enterprises. “Despite increased interest in aquaponics, expert-led training opportunities that provide an in-depth look at commercial aquaponic production strategies are few and far between,” says Pattillo.
An all-star cast of instructors from across the country will deliver a full day of aquaponics and best practices. Learn more at www.was.org.
